Hoosier Daddy

Pacers overcome a 15-point 4th quarter lead and beat the Lakers with a tip-in at the buzzer. Who does Troy Murphy think he is, Rik Smits?

This is probably as interesting as it will get for the Pacers all season.

With the Laker's now having 2 losses, I can now start making the argument that even the Boston Celtics would win 70+ games at their current pace, barring any serious injuries and any decision for Doc Rivers and Danny Ainge to play again.

Boston 17-2
Lakers 14-2

I'm waiting for the Christmas Day matchup.

Did you see how the Pacers, and the Indiana crowd for that matter, reacted to the buzzer beating tip-in? They looked like they've just won a championship! They looked more ecstatic than how the Lakers did with Horry's buzzer beating three coming from a Divac assist.

I guess that just shows how much of a powerhouse the Lakers are this season.

If the Lakers end the season 69 and 13, this Pacers team will be immortalized as the one that denied Kobe the 70 win season (and cost Cricket 300 bucks).
