I really hope it pans out for the guy as he was talented as hell but was nagged by recurring injuries. I remember him scoring back to back 40 pointers to force a game five in a playoff series against Miami Heat. That was simply awesome!

I finally read the article and it also mentions Patrick Ewing wanting a crack at a head coaching job, with no takers. This confirms what I've thought all along: listening to the New York media all these years has left Pat delusional.
Now #33 is probbaly the greatest Knick center ever (which really isn't saying much these days), but really, a head coaching job? All he'll do is teach every young center exactly two low post moves.
As you all know, Penny is also Agent Zero's main man. I think the Wizards should hire Penny as a coach. He'll be a great mentor to Agent Zero (read: Gilbert Arenas is the next Penny Hardaway )
This is not me hating. I want all the best for Penny, also my main man. ( I think it's a different case for Agent Zero. But that's for another blog. )
