I was recently informed by Cricket that Kobe is now trailing King James, CP3 and D-Wade in the MVP race. I think it's the shoes.

To title this entry as "Definitely the Shoes" is borders on absolute abrsudity. Bryant doesn't need to flex his muscles the way he used to. He has learned the fact that the only way to win is to get other talented people involved. Phil Jackson knows this, Pau Gasol knows this, Shaq knows this. That's why his numbers are weak in comparison to the previous seasons.
