Many of you might not know, but Ateneo has its own basketball league called ABL (Ateneo Basketball League). I'm not sure how long it has been there - I'm thinking over a decade already. At any rate, this year, me and my Computer Science course mates decided to form a team and join the league! We're composed of Computer Science graduates from different batches (from Cabs to Jino, all the way to my batch).
So far, here's how we've fared against the veterans of the league:
First game: we lost by 27 points. Second game: we lost by 17 points. Third game: we lost by 52 POINTS. We really could have used a Kobe to score 61 points - nanalo pa sana kami.
Our next game will be this Sunday at the North-east Greenhills basketball court, in case anyone would want to watch how to let opponents grab 100% of their offensive rebound opportunities.

Dude I think you're in the wrong division. Baka naman ka-division nyo si Mon Tioseco hahaha. It hasn't been around for a decade, but it's probably been around since 2002.
I'd want to tell you my ABL career scoring average to make you guys feel better, but I won't. :)
But Cricket if you keep this up you are still welcome to join me and Aleks' non-jock league.
"Baka naman ka-division nyo si Mon Tioseco hahaha"
Who the hell is Mon Tioseco?!?
Anyway, I would still say kudos to Cricket! Being present in the game is winning half the battle, too bad nga lang, di talaga sya battle with the scores hehehehe..
Dapat hinatak nyo si Jon Ray kahit di CS, so he has a chance to do better the last time he played sa ABL!
Googled Mon Tioseco and turns out he owns the record for most three-pointers in the UAAP. Is the reason I did not know this is because it's uh, wrong?
In any case, I think he's the record holder for most ABL career points. The league actually has statisticians for this.
"Googled Mon Tioseco and turns out he owns the record for most three-pointers in the UAAP. Is the reason I did not know this is because it's uh, wrong?"
Not Allan Caidic? Not Pido Jarencio? Not Henry Ong who bombed La Salle Teams to oblivion on his way to championships during his UAAP stint?
We might need to investigate the actual stats, but good for Mon Tioseco whoever he is. I just hope he doesn't look for his own name in google or this page might pop-up. hahahah
